Enhanced safety is provided by a zero RPM lid latch system, which prevents the lid from being opened until the centrifuge has completely stopped and ensures it will not run unless the lid is properly closed. Additionally, the centrifuge includes suction cup rubber feet for stable operation and a power switch with an indicator light to signal when the unit is on.
