×We understand that purchasing a new instrument is a significant investment, and we want to ensure you are fully supported throughout the life of your Unico instrument. Our warranty policy is designed to provide peace of mind, covering you in the event of material or manufacturing defects. Below, we outline our warranty terms and how you can make use of them if necessary.
What Products are Covered by the Warranty?
All Unico centrifuges, spectrophotometers, incubators, and tube rockers are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of shipment to the customer. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of parts that prove defective during the warranty period.
What is Covered by the Warranty?
Our warranty covers:

Repair and replacement of defective parts within the first year of purchase.

Full repair or replacement of the instrument, if deemed necessary by the manufacturer.
Warranty Exceptions
Please note that this warranty does not cover the following:

Damage due to accidents, fire, theft, acts of nature, negligence, or misuse.

Failure or damage resulting from the use of chemicals that have a harmful effect on the centrifuge.

Parts that are damaged, lost, or altered by anyone other than Unico or an authorized Unico service technician.

Any repairs or modifications made to the instrument by a third party without prior written approval from Unico.
How to Apply for Warranty Service?
To initiate a warranty claim, you must notify Unico or an authorized distributor/dealer of the defect within 5 days after the issue is identified. You can contact our Customer Service team through the following methods:

When contacting us, please have the serial number of your centrifuge and proof of purchase ready. We will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA #) to facilitate the warranty process. Returns without a valid RGA will not be accepted.
Shipping for Warranty Claims
Once an RGA # is issued, you must return the product to Unico at your expense. Please ensure the centrifuge is properly packaged to prevent damage during transit. If the product is determined to be covered under the warranty, we will repair or replace the centrifuge and ship it back to you at no additional charge.
What is Not Covered by This Warranty?
This warranty does not cover:

Light bulbs, batteries, fuses, rechargers, and AC adapters.

Routine wear and tear resulting from regular use.

Breakage or damage caused by accidents, misuse, or failure to clean and maintain the centrifuge.

Optical components, including any damage resulting from improper use or lack of maintenance.
Limitations of the Warranty
This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for any defects. Unico’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts. In no event shall Unico be held responsible for any other types of damages, including incidental or consequential damages.
The warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser of the centrifuge.
Effective Coverage Date
This warranty is effective for centrifuges purchased after June 1, 2024. Shipping & Order Processing Information

Minimum Order Requirement
We require a minimum order of $50. For any order totaling less than this amount, a minimum charge fee of $7.50 will apply.

orders once payment has been received and verified. Ensure that all payment information is accurate to prevent any delays.

Changes & Cancellations
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be modified or canceled directly through the website. Shipping Method
UNICO uses UPS as our primary carrier for all shipments. Available shipping options include:

Shipping times are based on UPS transit times and your location. Please note that the estimated delivery time does not include the time it takes to process and prepare your order for shipment.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) after payment has been received and verified. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. You will be able to view the shipping cost before completing your purchase at checkout. If there are any issues with the shipping cost calculation, our customer service team will contact you for confirmation.
Delivery Locations
We ship within the contiguous United States. At this time, do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Damaged or Missing Shipments
While we take great care in packing and shipping your products, occasionally, items may be damaged in transit. We will file a claim with UPS and arrange for replacements or a refund where applicable.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your package directly through UPS at www.ups.com using the tracking number provided.
Shipping Delays
UNICO is not responsible for shipping delays caused by UPS, weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Change of Shipping Address
