The UNICO® PowerSpin™ HX Series Centrifuge (Model # C8306) is a highly reliable and versatile laboratory tool, designed to meet the demands of clinical, industrial, and biological labs. It features a 6-place swing-out rotor, perfect for 3-15 ml tubes, ensuring efficient separation of blood and other materials. With easy-to-use push button keypad controls, the centrifuge can be operated with gloves on, making it convenient for busy lab environments.

The C8306 offers a range of 6, 8, or 12-place rotor options for standard 3-15 ml tubes, with optional adapters available for tubes smaller than 10 ml or 100 mm in length. The centrifuge operates at variable speeds from 500 to 3500 RPM, allowing for customizable separation based on your needs. It also includes an electronic 1-99 minute timer with a beep signal to indicate the end of the cycle. For consistency in repetitive protocols, the timer automatically resets to the previous settings after each run. Additionally, the centrifuge remembers the last time and speed settings, resuming those configurations when powered on again.

Safety is a top priority with the C8306, as it features a zero RPM lid latch system that prevents the lid from opening until the rotor has fully stopped. The centrifuge will not operate unless the lid is securely closed, ensuring safe operation at all times. To provide stability during use, the centrifuge is equipped with suction cup rubber feet, keeping it firmly in place on the bench. A power switch with an indicator light shows when the unit is powered on.
