The UNICO® C8308 PowerSpin™ HXV Series Centrifuge is engineered for precision and reliability, making it an essential tool for demanding laboratory environments. Ideal for clinical, industrial, and biological labs, this centrifuge is built to handle extensive use while ensuring accurate and efficient sample separation. The C8308 model features an 8-place swing-out rotor, specifically designed for 3 to 15 ml tubes. For additional flexibility, optional rotors for 6 or 12 places are available, and adapters can be used for tubes less than 10 ml or up to 100 mm in length.

With a variable speed range of 500 to 3,500 RPM, the C8308 provides precise control over centrifugation processes. The electronic timer allows you to set run times from 1 to 99 minutes, with a beep signal to alert you when the cycle is complete. The unit’s automatic time memory function ensures that the last used time and speed settings are retained and resumed for repetitive protocols, enhancing workflow efficiency.

Designed for ease of use, the centrifuge features a user-friendly push-button keypad that can be operated while wearing gloves. Safety is paramount with the zero RPM lid latch system, which prevents the lid from being opened while the unit is spinning and ensures it will not run unless properly closed. The centrifuge also includes suction cup rubber feet for stable operation on the bench top and a power switch with an indicator light to show when the unit is powered on.
