PowerSpin™ HX Centrifuge

The UNICO PowerSpin™ HX Series benchtop centrifuges provide an economical, reliable, and exceptionally quiet centrifugation solution, available with either horizontal or 12-place fixed angle rotors. Utilizing a horizontal rotor ensures a clean and complete separation of cellular components, yielding superior serum or plasma specimens. Specifically, when employing a horizontal rotor with Serum Separator Tubes (SSTs), a tight, uniform horizontal seal is created, effectively minimizing the risk of red cell leakage and potential specimen deterioration, a critical factor for specimens sent for external testing. The PowerSpin™ HX model incorporates an electronically controlled safety lock, preventing lid opening during rotor motion, along with a digital timer and LCD display for precise spin cycle control. Its powerful, brushless motor ensures years of dependable, maintenance-free operation, and the stainless steel guard bowl facilitates easy cleaning and maintenance. The PowerSpin™ HXV model features a Zero RPM safety lock, which also prevents the lid from being opened while the rotor is in motion, and it also contains a digital timer and LCD display for precise spin cycle control.
