The UNICO® 1201 Spectrophotometer is a reliable and versatile single beam instrument, meticulously designed to meet the needs of conventional laboratories across a range of applications. This high-performance spectrophotometer is ideal for use in Clinical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Petrochemistry, Environmental Protection, Food and Beverage analysis, as well as Water and Waste Water testing, among other quality control fields.
Featuring a wide wavelength range from 325 nm to 1000 nm, the UNICO® 1201 provides precise measurements within the visible spectrum. Its 5 nm spectral bandpass ensures high resolution and accuracy, while the wavelength accuracy of ± 2 nm and repeatability of ± 1 nm contribute to dependable performance. The UNICO® 1201 is designed for ease of use, with a digital display that provides clear and immediate photometric results. The spectrophotometer offers a broad photometric range of 0-125%T, 0-2.0 Abs, and 0-1999C (0-1999 Factor), making it suitable for a variety of sample types. Its photometric accuracy of ± 1.0%T and low stray radiant energy (< 0.5%T at 340 and 400 nm) further enhance measurement reliability. For added convenience, the UNICO® 1201 includes a switchable power supply (115/230 V ±10%, 60/50 Hz) and a 4-position cuvette holder, accommodating multiple sample formats. With dimensions of 415 mm in width, 320 mm in depth, and 175 mm in height (16-1/2 x 13 x 6-3/4 inches), and a net weight of 6.5 kg (15 lbs), this spectrophotometer is compact yet robust enough for diverse laboratory settings.
